Who Is Expected To Perform At The Super Bowl Halftime In 2024?
After Rihanna’s stunning performance at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime, all eyes are on the next show. Everyone wants to know who performs next and if the artist can outdo Riri’s performance. During the show, the featured Barbadian singer performed great hits like ‘Diamonds’, ‘Umbrella’, ‘All of the Lights’, and ‘Rude Boy’.

Now, while we cannot say for sure who will perform next, certain rumors are flying around on who it will be. And one rumored artiste, in particular, has sent Twitter fans into meltdown. By reading more of this article, come discover the possible singers who will perform at the next Super Bowl halftime show.

Harry Styles
Much to the delight of fans, Harry Styles, a former One Direction member, and a multiple Grammy award winner, is among those rumored to perform at the coming show. His ecstatic fans really hope the directors of the show decide to give the people what they want. And if they do, then we can only expect the audience to show up in cute fits to match the one(s) Harry is sure to wear.

One major reason why many believe Harry is next in line is that he was also among the contenders for the 2023 performers before it went to Rihanna. And more so, the ‘As It Was’ crooner is currently one of the most popular and most sought-after artists. So you can imagine the pull he would bring to the Super Bowl viewership, and isn’t this what the directors would want?

Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus is another top contender for the Super Bowl performer for the 2024 edition. Several fans have shown their interest in getting the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer into the Halftime show. They even went as far as signing petitions to get her in.

Thus, it is no wonder that there are rumors of talks between Miley and the NFL executives for the upcoming show.
Furthermore, Miley Cyrus was, at some point in 2021, involved in the Tiktok Tailgate Super Bowl event. As such, it is only fitting that she is among the next year’s performers.

And if she shows up, we can expect to see her perform ‘Flowers,’ her recent single that topped the Billboard Chart for 10 weeks. Now imagine the fit the audience would have if she decided to show up with her godmother Dolly Parton!

Taylor Swift
While many feel that Taylor Swift should have performed at the Halftime show by now, she is yet to deliver. And this may be for personal reasons, much to the disappointment of her fanbase – the Swifties.

Moreover, Taylor not climbing onto the stage is not for lack of opportunity. TMZ says they offered her the chance to do so in the most recent show but she refused.
The reason, according to a source, is that Taylor does not plan to be among the Super Bowl performers yet. At least not until she finishes resolving her current rights dispute. But this was for the 2023 show; for that of 2024, the Swifties can only hope that Taylor finishes up with all she’s doing by then and can hop onto the stage.

Lil Nas X
Following Lil Nas X’s continuous success in the music industry, some believe that the ‘Montero’ artiste would be a good choice for the next show. And from past stage concert performances, we see that Lil Nas has a great stage presence. Now, imagine bringing such a talented singer and rapper to the Super Bowl.

Moreover, the 24-year-old ‘Industry Baby’ has made an input a couple of times in events relating to the show. In 2019, he tweeted, “TOWN ROAD SUPER BOWL 2020!”. And in the following year 2020, he appeared in a Doritos commercial that came up during that year’s show.
We may thus take this as a sign that Lil Nas X may be a contender for the 2024 Halftime Show. And if not, his fans can only hope that this dream comes true soon.

Ariana Grande
At some point, there were also rumors that Ariana Grande would be next in line to perform at the next edition of the Super Bowl show. And many fans have shown their excitement at this rumored news.

However, this is quite unlikely considering the singer’s most recent commitment – the ‘Wicked’ movie. Here, she plays a major role – Glinda – and the show spans two parts. And with the first part seeing a release in the latter part of 2024, there is very little chance that Ariana will perform at the sports event.

Conclusion
Many other singers, such as Sam Smith, Doja Cat, and Lizzo, have been rumored to be among those who would perform. But it seems Harry Styles is the major contender for this spot. However, regardless of whom the NFL executives pick, viewers can be certain to have a great time at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
